As part of the Marketing and Communications team, the Social Media Specialist is a visual storyteller with a creative mind. The Specialist has lead responsibility for the conception, development, and production of video, photo and other digital content for distribution on all social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn. This position leads social media strategy and execution across all major social media channels and develops and implements organic and paid social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, generate leads, and engage with our audiences. This position also has responsibility for collecting, analyzing, and reporting social media metrics and making data-informed decisions to improve social media performance.

Minimum Qualifications
Experience creating and managing social media content to build audiences and engage with the public.
Experience shooting photos and recording/editing video for use on social media platforms.
Experience writing copy for social and digital media platforms for a diverse range of audiences.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree or other related credential in social media, communications, marketing, digital marketing, multi-media design, or other related field.
3 years' experience creating and managing social media content to build audiences and engage with the public.
Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
Experience with analytics, planning, forecasting, and reporting.
Experience with paid social ads.
Knowledge of best practices in social media, content strategy, accessibility and familiarity with current social media trends and tools.
Additional Requirements
