Located in Northfield, MN, this is a part – time, rotating shift position with some weekend and holiday shifts. The hours of work are generally 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Days of work and hours may vary depending on site needs.

The Licensed Practical Nurse’s (LPN) primary responsibilities are to provide respectful, comprehensive, and person-centered direct care services to individuals in the residential homes provided by Minnesota State Operated Community Services (MSOCS).
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES:
Takes temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure readings.
Administers and records prescribed medication.
Keeps clinical charts and reports on the physical and emotional state of clients.
Promotes and participates in rehabilitation activities.
Maintains a clean and hazard-free environment.
Promotes clients' personal hygiene.
May regulate parenteral fluids and administer intramuscular injection.
Administers emergency first aid.
Orders supplies and equipment.
Operate a motor vehicle and possess a current, valid driver’s license
Minimum Qualifications
Must have a valid driver's license
Must Possess or be eligible for license in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse
*Future Practical Nurses who are within six (6) months of graduating and taking their NCLEX-LPN are encouraged to apply. Contingent job offers may be made upon successful completion of degree and passing of NCLEX-LPN
